<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make the punch load finely adjustable to execute the depress forming at a high accuracy. SOLUTION: An apparatus applies the depress forming to specified parts of a lead frame, using a depressing die 16. The punch load of the die 16 is set by a pressing force of an air cylinder 17. A regulator 19 controls the air feed rate for the air cylinder 17 driven by a regulator drive 24 which operates, based on the result of measuring the deformation quantity of the lead frame, using a measuring unit 22. This feed back control suppresses the variation of the lead frame deformation quantity in the depress formation, thereby obtaining a high-accuracy lead frame.</p> |
