<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a display device preventing an electric short circuit between adjacent pixel electrodes of a liquid crystal display device, eliminating a point fault and improving picture quality. SOLUTION: This liquid crystal display device contains a transparent insulation substrate, plural scanning lines 110 and plural data lines 120 intersecting with each other on the substrate, a metal segment 150 superimposing on the scanning lines 120, the pixel electrode 130a connected to the metal segment 150 and a TFT electrically brought into contact with the pixel electrode 130a, the scanning lines 110 and the data lines 120. By providing a projecting part in contact with the metal segment 150 layer through a contact hole 160 on the pixel electrode 130a, a distance d1 between pixel electrodes of the part excepting the projecting part becomes large.</p> |
