The invention relates to a process for the treatment of a glazing, more particularly of an encapsulated glazing, on its periphery which consists in treating part of the surface of the glazing with at least one silane and one composition capable of forming a layer containing free OH groups, with a view to adhesion of a mastic such as a polyurethane which makes possible the adhesion of the glazing in body openings of automobile vehicles. The invention also proposes a glazing ready to be mounted by adhesion in an opening and a priming composition.
