PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To allow the remote controller to control sophisticated functions only or to control simple functions only through a switch operation by a device main body or the remote controller. SOLUTION: A sophisticated function/simple function changeover section 9 is switched into simple functions by a switch operation or the like in a device main body to allow a control signal processing section 8 under the control of a control section 11 to process only control signals with simple functions stored in a storage section 10 among signals from the remote controller 6 received via a panel key 5 or a remote control signal reception section 7, controls a reception demodulation signal processing section 2 via the control section 11 and a video image based on the outputted signal is displayed on a video display section 3. Otherwise, the switch is provided to the remote controller and the remote controller does not sends other control signals than those for the simple functions when the simple function is selected. |
