PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To quickly restore the lost position information to be maintained and to start again the terminating service by transmitting a position registering start request to each mobile terminal included in a relevant area via a radio base station and starting a position registering operation at the mobile terminal in response to the received start request. SOLUTION: When a radio base station area is moved, the radio base stations 4a and 4b always transmit their proper position information in their own areas. The mobile terminals 5a, 5b and 5c start the position registering procedures when their received position information are different from their holding current position information. The position registering is also performed by the request given from an operation system 6. Then the system 6 broadcasts the position registering procedure start request signals to the mobile terminals included in every radio base station area via a service control exchange 1, an area exchange 3a and the stations 4a and 4b. The terminals 5a to 5c start the same position registering procedures as those that are performed when the radio base station areas are moved in response to each received start request. |
