摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a searching system which can find a wandering person, a victim, a lost article, a stolen article, etc., by accurately specifying the location by quickly searching for the person, victim, articles, etc., regardless of the distance between the object to be searched and a searcher even when the distance becomes longer. SOLUTION: When a call is made to a slave radiotelephone set l carried by an object to be searched from the PHS transmitter-receiver 21 of a master radiotelephone set 2, the slave set 1 measures the present location by means of a GPS position measuring device 12 and returns the measured position information P1 of the slave set 1 to the master set 2 from a PHS responder. At the master set 2, a differential GPS position measuring system is formed, because the information P1 received from the slave set 1 and its own position information P2 measured by means of its own GPS position measuring instrument 24 are obtained, and the relative position to the slave set 1 from the master set 2 is displayed on a map picture display 22 with high accuracy of <1m error. Since PHS is used form the communication, the object to be searched can be found quickly and the position of the slave set 1 can be specified with pinpoint accuracy by using the DGPS.
