A device in a monitoring unit (1) for heat-emitting objects such as stoves and the like, concerning overheating, said monitoring unit comprising a control part (2) having a heat monitor (3) facing the object, said heat monitor cooperating with a heat sensor (4) located behind it at an angle to the vertical plane and comprising printed circuit board. According to the invention the device comprises an elongate support body (5) arranged to be fitted perpendicularly on a vertical wall behind the object, the monitoring unit being rigidly attached to the upper end portion of the support body. The support body is provided at its lower end portion with a support (6) for abutment against a surface of the object, the distance between the support and the heat sensor being predetermined, and the position of the heat sensor in relation to the object thus remaining constant. |
