DATA TRANSFER CONTROL AND REPEATER

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide the data transfer controller and the repeater that are communicated with an IEEE 1394 exclusive terminal equipments and with a node group in operation under other protocol than the IEEE 1394. SOLUTION: A data transfer controller 5 of a 2nd physical network 12 sets up a broadcast type synchronization channel of the 2nd physical network 12 by which a transmission node 1 sends information data. A data transfer controller 2 sends a control message including address information of the other data transfer controller 2 of the 1st physical network 11 and information relating to a communication resource amount to set up a path for the information data to a reception node 6 and instructs transmission of the information data of the synchronization channel to the transmission node 1 by a protocol depending on the 2nd physical network 12 when a path to send the information data up to the reception node 6 is set corresponding to the control message.
