PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a device for composing hypermedia like a book which makes it easy for a user to use browsed information when the user browses information consisting of hyperlinks. SOLUTION: When the user makes a request for transition from current browsed information, an expansion information decision part 14 compares the address of the requested transition destination with addresses which are already expanded and stored in an expansion information address storage part 20 to indicates display when the information is not expanded or stores the address and indicates expansion when not. The expanded book information is stored in a display part 11 and displayed. At this time, a browsing control part 19 compares the expansion order of information at the transition destination with expansion order of book information stored in the expansion information address storage part 20 and corrects the page number of a page history in the expansion information address storage part 20 which is already browsed with an increment of the page by the expansion. Consequently, the browsed information can be stored and displayed in book form according to the structure to make it easy to use the browsed information.
