METHOD AND DEVICE FOR DISPLAYING RADAR IMAGE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide the method and the device for displaying radar image which can display the received radar signal exceeding the specified threshold value such as the dynamic range of the display. SOLUTION: An amplitude judging means 14 judges whether the amplitude value of a received radar signal exceeds the threshold value or not. A writing- address generating means 15 generates the address of a frame memory means 17 in correspondence with a range R1 and a bearingθ1 of the received radar signal when the received radar signal has the amplitude value not exceeding the specified threshold value and contiously outputs the adress of the frame memory means 17 in correspondence with a range R2 and a bearingθ2 of the received radar signals and the adresses for several picture elements in the bearing direction with the above described address as the center when the received radar signal has the amplitude value exceeding the specified threshold value. A writing data control means 13 writes the image data into the frame memory 17 in accordance with this address. These means are provided.
