摘要 |
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an oxide superconducting wire material durable to tensile stress of 20kg/mm<2> or more required in production of a large magnet or a high magnetic field magnet and having high critical current density. SOLUTION: A first stabilized matrix 2 directly covering a filament 1 made of an oxide superconductor is made of silver or a silver alloy containing the amount and the kind of metal which do not deteriorate the superconducting characteristics of the filament 1. The silver alloy is Ag-Sb alloy containing 0.2-0.7 atomic percent Sb. A second stabilized matrix 3 covering the first stabilized matrix 2 is made of Ag-Mn alloy containing 1.0-8.0 atomic percent Mn.
