The invention relates to a method and apparatus for making corrugated packaging components, in which a continuously fed strip of material is fed, by means of a longitudinal shaping tool means, successively into the interspaces between two elongated, parallel spaced shaping bodies of a continuous sequence of such shaping bodies, for the formation of the upper and lower loops of the corrugated strip. The shaped corrugated strip is then glued by means of a glueing apparatus in the peak regions of the lower loops. By using a pressure-applying apparatus, a carrier sheet is subsequently arranged on the glued side of the corrugated strip. The corrugated strip is subsequently cut up into corrugated packaging components by means of a cutting apparatus. These corrugated packaging components are then finally removed from the apparatus according to the invention. <IMAGE> |
