PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To deliver toner between a toner carrier and a developer carrier without bringing a member such as a scraper into contact with the toner carrier. SOLUTION: This device is provided with the toner carrier 9 which holds the toner at the outside circumferential part and which is freely turnably supported by being faced to a photoreceptor 1 and the developer carrier 15 which holds two-component developer 31 consisting of the toner and carrier at the outside circumferential part and which is faced to the carrier 9 by leaving a prescribed gap and supported so as to be freely turned in an identical direction to the carrier 9. Then, the toner is supplied to the carrier 9 from the carrier 15 in a toner supply and recovery area 23 where the carriers 9 and 15 faced. In such a case, the filling density of the developer in the area 23 is set to be >=29.5%. |
