PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily set amplification factor by keeping an automatic gain control means in an inactive state, while the amplification factor is manually set and also reflecting the manually set amplification factor on the target value of the automatic gain control means. SOLUTION: The digital voice signal which is inputted to a digital voice signal input terminal 1 is amplified by an amplification factor variable function block 2 and supplied to a digital recording mechanism 3, for which the voice signal is recorded on a recording medium such as a disk, a tape, etc. At the same time, an automatic gain control feedback function block 4 performs automatic gain control, based on the set value that has been is inputted from a manual amplification factor setting signal input terminal 6. When an amplification factor is manually set, a manual amplification factor setting operation detector 7 detects the change in the set value for every single sampling mode to detect a manual setting period. The detector 7 sends the signals to a selector 5 for a manual setting period, cuts the control output signal of the block 4, and makes the block 2 perform the amplification based on only the manually set value. |
