PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To eliminate draft which is a cause for producing uncomfortable feeling and variation of indoor air temperature. SOLUTION: In a wall-hang type fan coil device, an axial fan 1 is used, a substantial rectangular-shaped plate fin type heat exchanger 8 having approximately the same side length as a diameter of the axial fan is arranged near a suction side of the axial fan 1, indoor air is sucked through the heat exchanger and then cold air and hot air are radically blown in from an outer circumference of the axial fan 1. With such an arrangement as above, air flow expanding along the wall is made and in the case that the fan coil device is fixed to an inner surface of the outer wall, a certain barrier is formed in respect to a thermal load applied from the outer wall, influence of the thermal load applied to the indoor air is restricted to a minimum value and so uncomfortable draft is not applied to an occupant in a room. |
