FLEXIBLE FAST MULTIPLEXING REMOTE INPUT AND OUTPUT SYSTEM

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide the remote input/output system which can reduce its cost while maintaining its reliability and has a self-diagnostic function and the multiplexing optionality. SOLUTION: A dual channel 140 is prepared between an equipment and a control panel, and a coupling part is secured on the channel 140 at the control panel side 120 to transmit in order the output signals of control modules of all systems and also to distribute the received input signals to these control modules. A base part is added to the channel 140 at the equipment side 110 to transmit in order the input signals and also to select one of output signals received from the control modules of all systems based on a decision rule. The control module selects one of both input signals distributed from the coupling part of the channel 140. Then an interface part is connected to an input/ output device to read and transfer the input to the base part of the channel 140 and also to select one of both output signals received from the base part of the channel 140.
