<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a polymerized toner obtained by a suspension polymerization method, having stable chargeability, excellent in initial printing quality and exhibiting excellent stability of picture quality obtained in a continuous printing. SOLUTION: The toner is obtained by suspension-polymerizing a polymerizable monomer composition containing at least polymerizable monomers, a coloring agent and a charge controlling agent in a water based dispersion medium. In such a case, the charge controlling agent is constituted so as to contain 0.01-0.45 pts.wt. triphenyl methane derivative and 0.01-0.50 pts.wt. quaternary ammonium salt expressed by a formula per 100 pts.wt. polymerizing monomer as a reference. (In the formula, R<1> represents a 1-8C alkyl group, each of R<2> and R<3> represents individually a 1-18C alkyl group and R<4> represents a 1-8C alkyl group or a benzyl group.).</p> |
