PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To more excellently, correctly diagnose the state of a process correctly representing it, not only at the time of fault diagnosis but also at the time of maintenance and management diagnosises by aking a threshold value corresponding to a prescribed process variable as the function of other process variable. SOLUTION: A recognition setting means 105 sets a corresponding node N in an abnormal or normal correspondence state in accordance with the value of the process variable which is inputted to an input part 106 with a database 7. A cause node specifying means 107 specifies an abnormality cause corresponding to the main abnormality cause in accordance with the mutual abnormal/ normal correspondence setting state of the nodes. In this diagnostic system, the threshold value set in accordance with the respective nodes N as against the prescribed process variable is subordinate to another process variable. Besides, the system is constructed so as to easily execute the external input setting of the threshold value based on information which is stored in the, what is called, database 7. |
