<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a secondary battery charging circuit capable of accomplishing higher charge percentage even if the ambient temperature goes higher. SOLUTION: An ambient temperature detector 38 and a charge current controller 40 are added to the constitution of a conventional circuit. The ambient temperature detector 38 senses the ambient temperature of a battery 4 and generates a detection signal, according to its rise. The charge current controller 40 accomplishes high charge percentage by reducing the charge with the rise of the ambient temperature, controlling the charge so that the charge current to be supplied to the battery 4 may decrease stepwise.</p> |
