PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To block a stress ascribing to the mutual positional deviation of the outer ends of lead terminals from propagating up to electronic component elements. SOLUTION: An electronic component comprises an electronic element 1 and three or more lead terminals 2, 5 having mutually parallel disposed inner ends 2a, 5a which are led in one direction and connected to the element 1. The lead terminal 5 is connected to the center of the element 1. The lead terminals 2 are connected to the ends of the element 1. The terminal 5 has a noarrowest width part 5c which is located near the end 5a along the length of the terminal 5 and offset to either terminal 2.
