PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a doped fiber laser which is capable of outputting stable light pulses without being influenced by a surrounding environment. SOLUTION: After an laser beam emitted from a single-mode laser oscillator 11 is inputted into a light ring resonator 4, a PZT 9 provided to the optical ring resonator 4 is driven corresponding to error signals taken out from the resonator 4 to control an optical fiber of the optical ring oscillator in overall length, whereby a mode synchronization condition is prevented from being lost. By this setup, even if a surrounding environment is varied to change the optical fiber of the optical ring resonator in overall length, all the optical fiber of the optical ring resonator 4 is corrected for length, so that a doped fiber laser of this constitution is capable of outputting stabilized light pulses. |
