PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent the generation of sparks from the electromagnetic coil of a magnetizing device which magnetizes a magnetic material united with the electromagnetic coil in one body. SOLUTION: A magnet 24 is magnetized by impressing a magnetizing magnetic field upon a coil assembly 10 provided with an electromagnetic coil 14 and a magnetic material which becomes the magnet 24 when the material is magnetized from the outside. A magnetizing coil 40 is positioned so that the coil 40 can surround the magnet 24 and coil 14. Both ends of the conductor constituting the coil 14 is short-circuited to each other through a short-circuiting resistor 46. The magnet 24 is magnetized by generating a magnetizing magnetic field on the inner peripheral side of the coil 40. |
