<p>The hydraulic crane folding jib is partic. for a lorry-mounted loading crane, having a bottom section derricking on a supporting column and with a ram at the outer end derricking a top section. The ram attachment point (8) to the top section (5) protrudes from the latter, so as to describe a circle about the pivot pin (6) between the top and bottom (4) sections, and which intersects a line between the pivot pin and the point at which the ram is attached to the bottom section. The bottom section can be a hollow square square-section girder, rams being mounted on both sides of it.</p> |
