<p>A slitting device for a full width chenille intermediate drawn from a warp loom has needles with long slots, threaded between the wales, which guide the circular knives of a cutter cylinder. The points of the needles pass through guide rails whilst their butts fit in a stop. Provides a simple cutting arrangement by which the weft ends are severed centrally, and there is no risk of damage to the warp threads.</p> |
