The support comprises two identical elements (6) which are generally prismatic in shape and hollow, like a box. The elements each have slits (7) cut along their length, which facilitate the removal of stored goods, and orifices (2) at one end. The orifices (2) are moulded like bearings and stepped (5) on the hollow side of the elements (6) to complement a cylindrical distance piece (4). The support assembly is completed by a rod, which passes through the orifices, and a distance piece. The assembly is secured by a locking ring which has allen keys for easy clamping and removal.
