摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To attain high-speed data transfer for optical communication in accordance with the infrared ray data association(IrDA) and the like and more preferably to obtain certainty of data transfer. SOLUTION: This equipment is provided with a plurality of light-receiving elements 2, a plurality of light-emitting elements 1 provided to project lights nearly in identical direction, and a control circuit 3 that applies light emission control to a plurality of the light-emitting elements 1 according to a plurality of different kinds of processing for signals to be sent respectively, demodulates outputs of the light-emitting elements according to a plurality of different kinds of processing, discriminates coincidence, and allows the light-emitting elements 1 to provide an output of error information, when the coincidence discrimination indicates an improper result. Preferably the control circuit 3 generates an inverted signal of a signal to be transmitted, separates the signals based on wavelength or a modulation form so that the original signal is not in crosswalk to the generated signal and transits them. On the other hand, the receiver side demodulates the received signals and ORs them. When they are different, the receiver side informs it to the transmitter side as a reception error.
