PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To lessen warpage and deformation and to improve mechanical characteristics, such as wobbling of surface and acceleration of the wobbling of surface, by pressing the ranges of substrates exclusive of their projecting parts via pressing plates provided with substrate contact surfaces having good flatness. SOLUTION: Adhesive layers 3 for sticking two sheets of the substrates 2 having information recording parts on one side are disposed between these substrates 2 and are pressed by the pressing plates 1 from both sides, by which the substrates are stuck to each other. At this time, the ranges exclusive of flashes 2b at the innermost end of the substrates 2, flashes at the outermost peripheral end and the projecting parts in thick parts 2a are pressed by the substrate contact surfaces 1a, which have the high flatness, of the pressing plates 1, by which the substrates are stuck to each other. The pressing plates 1 and the substrates 2 have the high flatness at this time and, therefore, both are fixed at the time of the pressing and are liable to be damaged at the time of peeling. A compressed gas for peeling is blown out to the pressing plates to make the sepn. easier in order to prevent such damage. Further, means 5 for removing dust on the pressing plates 1 is installed in combination in order to prevent the meshing of dust, etc., between the pressing plates 1 and the substrates 2 and the consequent generation of local distortions in the disk and the occurrence of the degradation in its characteristics. As a result, the microdeformation of the disk is prevented. |
