Plastic eye dropper - for insertion in a medicament container before use and subsequent germfree drop dispensing

In an eye dropper which can be inserted in a liq. container, partic. a bottle with a seal ring engaging in a bottle mouth and a flange situated on a bottle neck (i) a more or less cylindrical dropper attachment is provided with an axially parallel capillary groove on its peripheral surface, (ii) the capillary groove is connected with a liq. outlet and (iii) the end of the dropper attachment is rounded in cap shaped fashion. An eye dropper can be easily mfd. and mechanically inserted in an associated liq. container for the simple application of a medicament to or into the eye without the risk of bacterial infection or mechanical damage to the eye.
