Oil tank with two simultaneously operating suction pumps - allowing both pumps to reach full output, for combustion engine

Oil tank for I.C. engine comprises two simultaneously operating suction pumps, one of which has a much greater output. The suction pipe of the second pump is in the form of a channel which extends into the oil tank and of which the suction opening (15) points in a direction opposite to the direction (16) of suction produced by the first pump. For example, the first pump conveys oil to the engine, and the second pump conveys oil to auxiliary apparatus using oil for cooling. The output of the first pump per min. is equal to a multiple of the content of the oil tank (11) and a multiple of the output of the second pump.
