The invention relates to a drive device for a door leaf or the like guided along a guide, having a drive head (2) which is fastened on a structure and exhibits a drive motor, having a drive pinion (17), having a deflection pinion (19) and having a chain (20) which is laid, and rotates, over drive pinion (17) and deflection pinion (19) and has a driver element fastened on the door leaf or the like. A drive device, which can be mounted in a simple manner and does not require any extensive, precise-mechanical adjustment work, is achieved in that the drive pinion (17), the deflection pinion (19) and the rotating chain (20) are arranged in a guide rail (9) and form a completely pre-assembled unit (8), and in that the pre-assembled unit (8) can be connected for transmission purposes to the drive head (2). <IMAGE> |
