PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method which easily and securely perform operation for temporarily outputting a character to an output device for previous confirmation. SOLUTION: A document is inputted (S2) and search conditions regarding its font, etc., are set. A substitute character for a character which does not meet the conditions is also specified (S4). It is decided whether or not each character of the document actually meets the conditions to classify characters (S6), and an improper character is converted into the substitute character (S8). A document after conversion is outputted on a display, etc., (S10). Matching characters are displayed as they are and substitute characters are display instead of mismatching characters. |
