摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To control a transmission quantity of image data generated by its own terminal by controlling transmission of image data received from an upstream terminal and image data generated by its own terminal to a downstream terminal. SOLUTION: A counter 812 measures number of PSC detected by a PSC detection circuit 506. A PSC number threshold value is set to a register 813. Then a comparator circuit 814 compares the both, a control circuit 807 controls a buffer memory 505 and an image coding circuit 502 so as to sends only a GOB header to a transmitter side transmission line 509 till the PSC threshold value is detected but does not send a QCIF image generated by its own terminal. When the comparator circuit 814 detects the arrival of number of PSC equivalent to the threshold value, the control circuit 807 deletes a QCIF image of a down-stream terminal with respect to its own terminal, revises the GOB number storing the QCIF image of other terminals, stores the coded signal of the QCIF image of its own terminal to the GOB and sends the result to the transmitter side transmission line 509. Thus, the transmission quantity of image data generated by its own terminal is controlled.
