PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To attain voice communication and data communication while a portable telephone set is kept connected to a computer main body, to charge a battery of the portable telephone set and to reduce communication disturbance by containing and connecting the portable telephone set in an extension unit. SOLUTION: An input of a reception system front end 81 of a portable telephone set 8 and output of a transmission system front end 82 are connected to an external antenna 77 via connectors 88, 77, and an external antenna connection means 73. Thus, an external antenna 77 provided to a mobile communication expansion unit 7 acts like an antenna for the portable telephone set 8. In the case of receiving data, a radio wave signal received by the external antenna 77 is given to the reception system front end 81 of the portable telephone set, in which the signal is amplified and the amplified signal is given to a modem 70 via the connectors 88, 75. After the reception signal received by the modem 70 is further converted, the converted signal is given to a control circuit 61 of a notebook personal computer 6. |
