PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the throughput of random access in the direct sequence- code division multiple access(DS-CDMA) cellular system with respect to the mobile communication system and its device. SOLUTION: In the mobile communication system, a base station equipment and a mobile station equipment are connected by the DS-CDMA system, and a plurality of mobile station equipment in each cell make random access to an access channel of the base station equipment. A mobile station equipment MS1/2 spreads a 1st information unit U1 in a plurality of information units, related to channel access by using a spread code S0 in common to the cell or system and applies spread processing to 2nd and succeeding information units U2-U5 by selecting different spread codes C1/C2 for the mobile station equipments Ms 1/2. A base station BS1 applies inverse spread processing to an incoming multiplex signal by using the common spread code S0 and to the different spread codes C1, C2 of the mobile station equipments MS1, MS2 respectively as required. |
