<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image selection system and a direct printer adapter which fetch image data, directly output an image of a high quality to a printer and also realize a print image selection, etc., which has a good operability. SOLUTION: A selective image displaying means 106 aligns and displays plural thumbnail images sent from a digital camera to a video monitor. A cursor means 107 shows a cursor in a freely movable way within the screen of the video monitor and acquires its position (coordinate). An image selecting means 108 makes an image that exists at the position where the cursor is stopped a printing output image candidate, makes it as a selected image when confirmation is inputted, fetches an image of high resolution that corresponds to it from the digital camera to memory and shows it on the video monitor. An index assigning means 109 adds an index to the displayed image and creates a table that makes the image and the index corresponded to each other.</p> |
