PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make the size small, to make the weight light and to attain convenience for carrying by reading a transmission original of a facsimile equipment, displaying the received original, and connecting the radio equipment to an external device with an external connector terminal to eliminate the need for provision for a print function. SOLUTION: A text received by an information input means 9 is displayed on a display device and stored simultaneously in a storage section. Furthermore, when the information input means 9 is used to designate an electronic mail or terminal communication as a communication class and to enter a destination telephone number or terminal number, a control section commands each section to select a designated communication mode and the text stored in the storage section is sent to the destination as a radio signal from an antenna 13 after being processed by a signal processing section and a radio section. The received electronic mail or information by the terminal communication is stored in the storage section through the processing by the radio section and the signal processing section and displayed on the display device 8 based on a display instruction by the user.
