PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To express various characters intended by a service providing side without depending on a font source of a user terminal in a network environment. SOLUTION: A browser 62 of a client 61 loads down document media 43 described with HTML and characters and sources taking mechanism applet 46 from a sever 41. The applet 46 makes a character kind searching mechanism 51 and an external character searching mechanism 54 make font files 52, 55 required for display the document media 43, and loads down them. In the same way, a document media output mechanism applet 40 displays a character train of the document media 43 on a screen of a display device 67 using a font read- out mechanism applet 56. Thereby, a font being not provided in the client 61 can be used for output. |
