PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce vibration caused by the elasticity of an original scanning slide member itself at the starting time and the finishing time of a scanning action in an original scanner such as a copying machine. SOLUTION: This device is provided with an original platen 13 on which an original is placed and an exposure optical system irradiating the original with a light beam and guiding the light beam reflected from the original by a prescribed optical path. Either of the platen 13 and the exposure optical system is fixed and the other is fitted to the original scanning slide member 28 moving back and forth. Then, a vibration absorption member 40 consisting of an elastic member 41 whose base end part is fixed to the slide member 28 and an inertia imparting member 42 fixed to the tip of the elastic member 41 is arranged on a more non-driving end side than the center of the gravity of the slide member 28. Besides, the vibration absorption member 40 is arranged so as to project in the moving direction of the slide member 28. |
