Mounting for insulating plate, especially for building facade

The mounting comprises U-shaped components which have shorter and longer flanges, and are fixed to the wall mechanically and also by gluing. They protect the edges of the plates, and are mechanically fixed to the wall via their shorter flanges. Some of the components can have plastering edges for use with windows and doors, that on the bottom component also forming a drip edge for rainwater running off the outside wall. The components can be of material having similar characteristics to that of the plates.
