Building brick or stone water take-up measurement

The proposed assembly determines water take-up in stone or mineral-based building facades, and consists of a hollow (13) structure with an open chamber at one end presented and applied to the stone face. The hollow (13) structure contains a quantity of fluid, especially water which may be recharged through a filler connector (12). The open end is applied to the stone face. The novelty is that: (a) the hollow (13) chamber is a quadratic depression (14) within a larger structure (11); (b) the length (15) and width (16) of the depression (14) are approximately the same as the length and breadth of the respective block of stone.
