<p>Dominant negative mutants of mammalian IRS-1 proteins and therapeutic compositions containing such mutants. Also featured are methods of using the dominant negative mutants to inhibit tyrosyl phosphorylation of endogenous IRS-1 in mammalian cells and methods of treating a mammalian malignancy in which tyrosyl phosphorylation of endogenous IRS-1 plays a causative role.</p> |
