The vacuum lifter (12) has a first vacuum producer (17), the suction side of which is connectable to the vacuum reservoir (16) and is connected to a main flow feed. It has a second vacuum producer (18), the suction side of which is connectable with the vacuum reservoir (16). A control device for control of the vacuum producers is so provided that the first vacuum producer is switched on at the point of readiness to operate. The second vacuum producer when the first vacuum producer ceases to operate is connectable to a battery. The second vacuum producer is connected to the main flow feed. |
