The mobile telephone is fitted with a loudspeaker and at least one microphone. To prevent users from having to hold the mobile telephone constantly to their ear or to avoid disruptive Hall effects in handsfree installations, the invention includes a unit which is physically separated from the mobile telephone and can be fixed in the area of the user's ear.
