Between the fixture component and the fixed surroundings recording devices are fitted in such a manner that the movement which they record is a measurement of the load exerted on the sports installation (1,2,3). Signalling devices are fitted which react to an exceeding of a predetermined threshold value for the load. The device is provided with components for display of the load exerted on the sports installation, such components comprising a graphic read-out unit. The signalling devices incorporate a sound or light generator. The fixture component is formed by a catch (8), to which a chain part (7) of the sports installation can be fixed.
