INJECTION MOULDING DIE LOCKING AND OPENING DEVICE

A locking and opening device for an injection moulding die, especially for processing highly liquid melted plastic material, providing a technically simple, low cost mechanism to lock the die and doing away as much as possible with elements located above work bench level or mould level, when said device is arranged vertically. To achieve this, clamping pins (7) hold one moulding die (2) in a closed position in relation to the other moulding die (3) and which can be axially displaced into a closed (fig. 1) or open position (fig. 2) by means of a sliding element (12) assigned to each clamping pin (7).
