The displacement curve of the hull in its overall extent is convexly curved and neither at the beginning nor at the end runs out concavely. Its width continuously increases to the aft while its depth decreases. If the submerged part has the form of a modified tetrahedron the centre of buoyancy is shifted aft, its width increases but parallel to the centre axis and its depth decreases but runs out horizontally forward.
