<p>The use of derivatives of theophylline for the preparation of medicaments suitable for the treatment of Cystic Fibrosis is described. In particular, the use of 8-cyclopentyl theophylline (CPT) is described for the preparation of medicaments for the treatment of cystic fibrosis.
