IMAGE/VOICE OUTPUT APPARATUS AND CAR NAVIGATION SYSTEM

An image/voice output apparatus which enables multiplex output of image and voice information from a plurality of input sources and always displays the image or voice information of one of the systems. The image/voice output apparatus includes an input side selector (55) by which one of the car navigation image information (2a), the TV image information (3a) and the video image information (4a) is selected and an output side selector (56) which supplies as the image display signals the output of the selector (55) and the car navigation image information (2a) to a liquid crystal panel (11) which can perform divided display. Even in the case of divided display, the car navigation image information (2a) can be displayed on the panel (11). As for the voice information, in addition to a terminal (37) from which the voice of the image displayed on the panel (11) is FM-outputted, a monitoring loudspeaker (19) which can output the car navigation voice information (2b) is provided. Hence, the car navigation information (2b) can be monitored whichever image is displayed.
