摘要 <p>Equipment for removing a coating (12) from a resin matrix material (11) comprises a roll arrangement (20A) with one surface (211) in continuous contact with the coating for separating the latter from the resin and a feeding surface (221) in contact with the resin side of the coated material (10). Both roll surfaces (211,221) form a continuous conveying system for the coated material (10) which is compressed between them. The coating separating surface (211) moves at a higher speed than the feeding surface creating a difference in length between the coating and the resin matrix layer and effects a shear force for separating the coating from the resin. A friction reducing agent is used between the coating (12) and the coating separating surface (211) to assist separation. Preferably coated material (10) is heated and then passed between two flattening rolls (51,52) on parallel axes before the rolling stage. The feeding and coating separating surfaces (221,211) of the roll arrangement (20A) are formed by two cylindrical rolls (21,22) perpendicular to the movement of the coated material (10) and on parallel axes on both sides of the material. An alternative design employs a cylindrical coating separating roll and a feeding system comprising an endless metal band supported by at least three rolls in such a way that it surrounds part of the periphery of the separating roll and presses the coated material towards the centre of this roll. In a further design the coating separating roll has an uneven surface of axially aligned waves and a feeding roll with a knurled surface.</p>
