The liquid mixtures which contain peroxide-, hydroperoxide- and/or sulphur-containing, unsaturated fatty acids and/or fatty acid esters are obtained from the corresponding fatty acids and/or fatty acid esters by contacting the same with oxygen and/or sulphur. The reaction takes place at elevated temperature. The products are suitable for therapeutically reducing the desire to smoke in humans. |
